The Annapurna Region

The Annapurna region rises across west-central Nepal as an extraordinary convergence of extreme vertical geography and enduring mountain communities. Spanning over fifty-five kilometers of towering Himalayan peaks, this landscape folds deep subtropical river valleys, dense alpine rhododendron forests, and wind-scoured high-altitude deserts into a single continuous territory.
